He Shou Wu Revealed: More potent than 1,334 glasses of wine

So, I’m sure you’ve all heard about how a glass of red wine a day can keep the old age and cancer away, and if you haven’t, well, you are now.  It has been suggestd that people who drink small amounts of red wine daily have been seen to live longer and healthier.  This is not to say that drinking any type of alcoholic beverage will keep the doctor away, for it is because of a special element in wine called resveratrol that has given wine this remarkable quality.

Resveratrol is a type of stilbenoid, or a natural phenol, and a phytoalexin produced naturally in certain plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria and fungi.  In other words, it is the plants S.W.A.T. team or task force, ready to guard and protect the well-being of the plant.

Pretty nifty, but let’s get to the point.

Red wine contains about 1.5-3mg/L of resveratrol, which is higher than any other common product, meaning that for every glass of wine, you are getting about 0.12-0.27mg of resveratrol, which has been proven to have beneficial factors to your health.  Alcohol, however, has not been seen to do the same.

So what if you could have the benefit of this stilbene without the alcohol, make it more potent, and mix it with other amazing components that would create serious upgrades for your health?

The Hyperion Herbs extract of he shou wu, happens to contain an alarming 8% stilbene content, which means that for every half teaspoon, you are getting 160mg of a more potent, higher quality stilbene(Tetrahydroxystilbene glucloside) than the resveratrol that is found in red wine, not to mention you’d have to drink roughly 1,334 glasses of wine to get as much as you would in a half teaspoon of this he shou wu.

Imagine the possibilities of taking a half-teaspoon or more of this he shou wu daily.

Your liver will thank you for the switch.

Live Longer!

One of the most popular benefits of all stilbenes is hands-down, the life-lengthening factor.  It has been proven in experiments with first yeast, then a worm, soon then for a fish in 2006.  This fish was seen to have its life more than double in span!  After lab tests were confirmed, surveys branched out to humans, and studied the connection between life-span and red wine consumption.  Stilbenes activate a cell-survival defense enzyme, which actually allows your cells more time to repair broken DNA.  Just as resveratrol is like a plant’s S.W.A.T. team, it can be ours as well.

Cardiovascular Health

Due to the high levels of antioxidants in stilbenes, it has been seen to raise the levels of good cholesterol, protecting your arteries from plaque development and heart disease.  In addition, it has been seen to prevent inflammation and blood clotting, making way for healthy paths to a happy heart.

Antioxidant, Anti-Viral, Anti-Inflammatory

Antioxidants are our defenses against aging, wear, tear, and all types of stressors.  Stilbenes have been seen to be more powerful of an antioxidant than Vitamin C and E, and also have shown to greatly inhibit the cellular damages caused by free radicals.  Stilbenes have a unique anti-oxidative quality, where they can rush the free radicals out of your system by donating electrons to them, making them unstable, while they remain strong and balanced.  Stilbenes’ anti-inflammatory qualities are neroprotective, helping to maintain healthy cells in the brain, as well as increasing blood flow and oxygen though its astounding cardiovascular attributes.

Even Weight Loss?

Yes, even weight loss.  Studies have shown stilbenes to inhibit the maturity of pre-fat cells, preventing their storage.  There are substances called cytokines that are directing linked with obesity disorders and diabetes, and some studies have also shown stilbenes to reduce their production.  It has been seen that even belly fat was reduced when consuming certain stilbenes.  This is actually an important link to what is known as the “French Paradox,” which points out how French people have a high fat diet, yet generally do not gain much weight due to the common consumption of wine.

He Shou Wu For The Win

This particular extract of he shou wu harbors all of the wonderful qualities of stilbenes and so much more.  A better defense against stressors on the body, anti-viral components, a healthier heart, better blood flow, a happier brain, and a loss of excess fat cells all lead to what we all are aiming for, which is a longer, happier, and more vivacious life.  There is no resveratrol supplement available that can compare to the 160mg per half teaspoon you get from this whole food, herbal extract of Hyperion’s He Shou Wu, and again, the stilbene contained within is tetrahydroxystilbene glucoside, which is believed to be higher quality and more potent than resveratrol.  This is truly something to celebrate, so may your next toast pack a bigger and better punch, if you will.
