In less than five minutes of research you can see that our environment is being bombarded with a wide variety of toxic substances. From PCBs, Dioxins, Radioactive particles, Xeno-estrogens, the list goes on and on.
According the EPA tap water has 141 unregulated chemicals and an additional 119 for which the EPA has set health-based limits. Most common among the chemicals found were disinfection byproducts, nitrates, chloroform, barium, arsenic and copper.

Shocking right? I couldn't believe it either...
I'm not here to knock on modern medicine or to proliferate fear. Obviously modern medicine is something we need as done a tremendous amount of good and saved countless lives. I could go on and on with more statistics and figures, but I think you get the point. Also, I believe its really valuable to do your own research and educate yourself on just whats happening in our world today in regards to pollution, virus/bacteria mutation, modern medicine, etc.
The Best Offense Is A Good Defense
That quote has always stood out to me and I believe it is extremely relevant to our conversation here.
The fact is, no one can or will walk our path for us. It's up to us to decide what kind of person we are going to be and what small, simple actions we take on a regular basis.
In this moment in history we are lucky and fortunate to have such abundant access to so many amazing super foods, tonic herbs, and other ancient health promoting strategies.
It's never been easier to be more empowered, proactive, and thus protected.
And this is all what motivates and drives me on my health and personal development quest.
