I've been taking it for a month or so now. I like it. I like the taste of it. I take it straight with water or a bit of coffee, usually three times a day. I started slow, with 1/8 of a teaspoon, then gradually increased the dosage to 1/4 and up to a half a teaspoon and then back down to a 1/4 teaspoon. I feel that the extract is working. I never really had a problem falling asleep, but it seemed that taking the Wild Purple Reishi makes me fall asleep even faster. Energy wise is pretty good. It seems that in a way - like Brandon wrote on the site - Wild Purple Reishi gives you the feeling to "Come back to your own self." Overall I think your Wild Purple Reishi extract is solid! I ordered He Shou Wu a couple of weeks ago and now I'm taking the two together. I like them. Alberto

We Tried this instead of the red Reishi. Alot more mellow in the taste and the effects. Goes well in coffee as it complements the flavour of the coffee IMO. Nice product will purchase again.
I combine this with Hyperion Herb's gynsotemma and it makes the perfect combination to unwind and improve my sleep. This is much needed for a 75-year-old like me. I also use other Hyperion herbs such as Black Maca, Duanwood Mushroom, Black Ginger. I have total faith in Brandon's products.

I combine my Ho show wo (please forgive the spelling) with this one perfect combo for me.
I just finished my 1st package of purple reishi. I have been consuming red reishi and duanwood reishi for decades. I look forward to my cup of purple reishi in the evening. I like about a teaspoon per cup.
I've been using this Purple Reishi extract for about 4 weeks straight. The first week I took 1 to 2 teaspoons daily, then eventually lowered the dose significantly. This variant of reishi mushroom is EXTREMELY balancing & normalizing at higher doses. But normalizing in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY compared to Red Reishi or typical variants you find more commonly. 1 teaspoon had me completely consumed in the herbs balancing aura. Like a spiritual grounding sheild that nothing could penetrate, but NOT in a "buzz" type feeling like red resihi or other herbs can make you feel. (I actually enjoy the "buzz" I get from Hyperion's Duanwood Red Resihi to be honest) Smaller doses of this purple reishi, around 1/4th of a teaspoon... provides more of a slight stimulating focus. Amazing for sitting and reading an entire book in one sitting. Studying, and just being in the moment. This purple reishi I feel, is a bit more one dimensional, compared to Hyperion Herbs duanwood reishi. The duanwood reishi, i can feel in my soul and body. Purple Reishi i feel, mostly normalizes brain activity which transcends downward. Whereas Hyperion Herbs Duanwood Red Reishi I feel starts in the heart, then radiates outward in all directions. Overall, this Purple Reishi is great if a subtle calm normalizing without any negatives or "extra surprises" is what you're looking for. Personally, I'd say this Purple Reishi is PERFECT for those new to Reishi. As Hyperion Herbs Daunwood Reishi has a far wider scope of effects that beginners may not be ready for, this purple resihi is far more down to earth & less intense. Despite Purple Reishi having a far more mysterious lore, & being more rare & novel.
